ISRBA meeting

January 9 2005

There will be a 4-H Workshop in Lafayette, IN. on March 5th with a Youth Only show following the Workshop. The Financial Report for the 2004 Indiana State Convention was given, the Gross Show income was $147.73, which is better then years past. The show last year went in the hole by $2203.53.

The Ag grant was sent in and they had not heard anything back at the time of the meeting. Marcia Raab said that several people have volunteered to step up and help her with her duties, with one being our very own Bobby George who will be performing the duties of Membership Chairperson.

There was a long discussion on the proposed changes to the youth contest at the State Convention. It was decided that it would be tabled until next meeting, with a copy of the old rules and a copy of the proposed changes mailed to the members prior to the next meeting.

Max Harrison ran unopposed for another term as President. Tony Poe also ran unopposed for another term as Vise-President. There was a discussion on how many Judges would be needed for the 2008 ISRBA Show. It was decided that 10 Judges and 1 Alt. would be able to handle the show. Votes were taken from Bids that had been returned with the following Judges picked:

Mike Avesing
Tom Berger
Brad Boyce
Glen Carr
Dave Hauser
Bruce Ormsby
Ron Riddle
Tex Thomas
Randy Waggoner
Mike Young
Alt.
Carla Wilson

There was a committee organized to look into a better location to have the meetings which may be more centralized. The Committee will report back at the next meeting. The meetings for the year are as follows:

March 6
June 12
September 10 (State Convention)
November 13

(Special Thanks to Terry Gardner, as always some wonderful minutes!)
